LITTLE SPIDER

SINGLE-PACK

The red Aces and the two black Kings (or the two black Aces and the two red Kings) are placed in a row on the table to serve as foundations.

The remaining 48 cards are dealt, face upwards, in two rows of four cards each, one above the foundation cards, the other below them.

The object of the poker game is to build ascending suit sequences on the Aces to Kings, and descending suit sequences on the Kings to Aces.

During deal a card may be built from the upper row on any of the four foundation cards, but from the lower row only on the foundation card directly above it.

After every batch of eight cards has been dealt, the top cards of all eight piles are playable and may be built on any foundation cards or packed on any other pile in the layout.

The piles are packed in ascending or descending, continuous 52 card sequences (an Ace ranks below a 2 and above a King) regardless of suit. A space made by removing an entire pile is not filled.

In the layout illustrated, the ♣ Q may be built on the ♣ K and the ♥ 2 on the ♥ A. The ♣ 10 may be packed on the ♠ J, and the ♣ 5on the ♠6. And so on.
